Paid-event purchases are subject to the PalStory Cancellation & Refund Policy published on the website.
A customer-requested cancellation made within 24 hours of purchase may qualify for a refund only where the event has not been materially used.
For an eligible customer-requested cancellation, PalStory will normally refund 90% of the amount paid and retain 10% as a cancellation and processing charge.
Material use may include guest submissions, meaningful use of the event QR collection experience or substantial use of paid PalStory functionality.
Once guest submissions have started or the paid event has otherwise been materially used, customer-requested cancellations are normally not refundable.
Changing or postponing an event date does not by itself qualify for a refund where the event can be updated through PalStory's event-management functionality.
Selecting the wrong paid plan does not by itself qualify for a refund where an available PalStory plan-change or upgrade option can be used. Where offered, an eligible Celebration event may be upgraded to Professional and an eligible Professional event requiring 301 or more guest-video capacity may be converted to Customize. Professional events cannot be downgraded to Celebration.
A confirmed duplicate payment for the same intended purchase may qualify for a 100% refund of the duplicate transaction.
If PalStory is unable to provide the purchased service because of a confirmed technical or service failure attributable to PalStory, the affected purchase may qualify for a 100% refund.
Where PalStory provides self-service cancellation, eligibility and the applicable refundable amount may be determined automatically using the event and payment records available to PalStory. The refundable amount will be shown before the organizer confirms an eligible cancellation.
After an eligible cancellation is confirmed, PalStory may initiate the approved refund through the original payment method and track its processing status. The time required for the refunded amount to appear may depend on the payment provider, payment method and customer's bank.
